Hi! I’m Amanda, so happy to meet you! I’m a Minnesota native born and raised and naturally drop an ‘Uffda’ into most conversations without even noticing it. I live in White Bear Lake ( just outside of St.Paul) with my little hot dog size puppy dog, Boots. He’s the little rescue pup who stole my heart back in 2014 when I adopted & brought him HOME for the holidays. I’m in love with all things local, embrace family traditions to the fullest, and can’t pass up the opportunity to share a warm cup of coffee with a good friend OR stranger over a heartwarming conversation. I’m grounded in my faith, I’m curious about all things in life and love taking in every detail around me by being fully present in each moment. I’ll take an order of a walking trail & bonfire any day; hold the cell phone & laptop please. I have an endless love for trying different wines & taking in the beautiful atmospheres at wineries. Top that off with some gelato & a dove chocolate with those cute little saying and I’m good to go. I’m an extrovert through & through – probably due to the Big Beilke Bunch I was raised with. Although, more and more I find myself wanting to spend a night in with one or two people instead of a big group! I have six incredible brothers, sisters –in-law as my friends, & 14 little munchkins running around yelling “Auntie Manda!” through the halls. And fully blessed with two wonderfully loving parents who raised us all. I love Sundays & Champagne. I adore receiving a hand written letter or card in the mail. It’s the simple things that make me smile. And, Miss Oprah Winfrey has been my constant inspiration since middle school. I’ve seen her in action LIVE 2x and yes, I totally cried each time! Amanda Beilke – I am: A life design coach, mocha sipper, Christmas lover, hugger, & child of God I live: In the heart of Minnesota in White Bear Lake. Anyone else love walking by the lake every week? I believe: I am saved by grace through my heavenly father.
- What is one of your dreams? I have many dreams that keep me excited and the wheels spinning faster and faster. The first one that comes to mind is going to a barista & coffee school so I can make all my favorite coffee drinks in my pjs at home or have friends and family over for coffee dates where I can make anything they order up at Café Amanda as well.
- Who has been the biggest influence on your life? What lessons did that person teach you?
I can think of many MANY people who have had a huge impact on my life. My parents, Jesus, my grandma, my mentors and many friends, but the person who has had the biggest impact on my life in the path I have chosen as a Life Design Coach is Oprah Winfrey. She is the one who through her shows and now network that introduced me to my deep love of personal growth & development. Some of my treasured lessons from her include:
- Your journey begins with a CHOICE to get up, step out, and live fully.
- Your deepest struggle can, if you’re willing and open, produce your greatest strength.
- When you make loving others the story of your life, there’s never a final chapter, because the legacy continues on and on in the lives of the people you loved.
- When you are grateful and focus on the goodness in your life, you create more of it.
- Everything you do and say shows the world who you are. Let it be the truth.
- Who has been the kindest to you in your life? My mom. The amount of compassion, care, and love she has for me is unmeasurable. One of the biggest indicators of her huge heart of kindness is how often she intently listens to me when I talk to her no matter what the topic may be.

- What are your top 3 values? Why?
Love is what the world needs more of. You need it. I need it. If we all showed one another more love that would make the world a wonderful place with a lot less hurt, anger, and misunderstanding. Faith is the core of my being. Without my faith in Jesus Christ, I would be walking aimlessly through life. It is through my faith that I have strength, intention, and deep hope in what the future will bring. Curiosity is what makes my life an adventure. I value learning and experiencing new things big and small. I want to learn not only new skills and things to do, but I want to learn about people and the people I interact with each and every day whether I know them by name or they are a stranger passing by. Curiosity fuels possibility for me.
- If you could connect & share a cup of coffee with anyone alive or dead who would you choose? What would you ask them?
I have many people who I deeply want to have a coffee chat with. The first would be Jesus. I have so many questions about the whys of life and the world we live in. I also would love to share a cup of coffee with Brene Brown. She is one phenomenal writer. Her work and research is transformational and her books are what got me to enjoy reading again! I would ask her all about her writings from “The Gifts of Imperfection” and how she’s grown from her research and work around vulnerability and connection. Of course, I would also adore the opportunity to sit down on a beautiful sunny day with Miss Oprah Winfrey on the porch sipping on some coffee and chatting the day away.
- What is your word of the year?
Imperfection – You can read all about it here. Stop waiting, move forward. I believe the imperfections in our lives make us beautiful in more ways than we can count.
- What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Listen first. When you feel helpless, help someone. Let your faith be bigger than your fear. Local wineries, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and hammocks.
- What are you currently obsessing over?
I really love my REI ENO Hammock. It’s the perfect piece to bring to the lake, read in at the park, or anything else your heart desires. Being in nature and connecting to the presence, peace, and calming nature of the world around me in my hammock is so grounding.
- What was the last exciting thing in your life that you celebrated?
I love celebrating all things big and small. Life is beautiful that way, always giving you something to celebrate. The last thing I celebrated was a friend’s birthday and breakthrough coaching session I had with one of my clients.
